Nigel
Jim That's my previous profession. Just about every car hauler moving new vehicles for the manufacturer secures the wheels and it is the same on the trains. Now from my towing days, something like this may work on the front control arms. http://www.awdirect.com/aw-direct-low-profile-v-strap-bridle-w-8-j-mini-t-hooks-lptp-8fct24/v-straps/ Nigel 2006 Volvo VNL 430, 2006 smart cabrio cdi, 2000 Triple E Topaz 30'
jpar19
Thank you all for your thoughtful responses. I am very glad I asked before I jumped on a local car for sale. Seems that I have a lot more factors to consider before I purchase a car. I had not realized my 630 cab was narrower and the cars have widened. A Cincinnati Mercedes dealer has a one owner 2013 pure with 47k miles for $6800. Being my normal frugal self, I thought that I might jump on something like that rather than the 17k or so for a 2016. Could have a made a costly boo boo by jumping too quick. Thank you forum members, you're the best! I need to slow down and plan a bit more carefully. GlennWest
I gave less than 7k for my 2013 pure with 32k miles. That includes taxes. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
