2gypsies Posted May 9, 2016 Report Share Posted May 9, 2016 Before you decide on a truck it's probably wise to zero in on the 5th wheel first and then match the power of the truck to what you're pulling. Right now you have no idea of the size of the 5th wheel you'll get, how many slides and the weight. Those numbers all make a big difference as to what size truck to buy. SWharton Posted May 10, 2016 Report Share Posted May 10, 2016 One word of warning: Do not trust the truck or RV dealer when they say this vehicle will tow this 5th wheel or such and such a truck is fine. Both are only trying to sell you their item and don't give a hoot about real life weights and towing capacities. Make sure you have extra capacity.
