As quite a few of us are hitting the road or getting ready to after possibly sitting for the winter, check your "stuff" when hooking up and moving forward. Last Saturday AM when on my walk, there was a diesel pusher northbound on Foothills Blvd. in the Yuma Foothills. Speed limit is 35 mph and he appeared to be keeping up with traffic. As I usually do, I look at moving RVs. Well, the pusher is northbound and the Dodge Dakota toad was trying to go east. All I could do was wave my arms hoping maybe he would see me in the mirrors. Luckily, a person passing him in a Jeep noticed the situation too and motioned to him. He turned a corner, got into a parking lot. The guy in the Jeep was quicker than I was on shoe sole express. Unfortunately looking at the two front tires, I believe he was on the way to a tire shop to help pump up the Yuma economy one more time before leaving. Check and then double check.
