Looked Closely at a Tiny House

Recommended Posts

Biggest downside to me is the loft for sleeping. Just no way at our age.

While I'm not fond of loft beds at least more builders are putting in stairs instead of ladders. Check out the first one at this site: http://www.countryliving.com/life/travel/g3595/tour-tiny-house-village/. My favorite one stacked dressers and trucks to make a most unusual looking staircase.

I saw one that had a conventional staircase to a side aisle alongside the loft bed. The side isle was lower than the bed, which had headroom similar to most 5th wheel bedrooms. There was waist-high storage in the room underneath the aisle.
