Hello all,

 

I would like to say thank you to all the members on this forum who take the time to respond to members questions and comments, especially mine since I have been posting many lately.

 

The experience and wisdom of the members is priceless to those of us who are still learning "the ropes".

 

This is by far the best source of RV information on the web, IMHO, and couldn't exist were it not for the participation of the members and the hard work of the moderators.

 

Again, and I think I speak for many, thank you.

You folks really think you're getting off so easily with a "thank you"? We work on a "pay it forward" system. I'll go out on a limb and speak for some others... we all started out in the same boat some time and only succeeded through the benevolence of others. The same is expected of you.

 

It's the old cliche.. the only stupid question is the one un-asked.

Yep, I believe in pay it forward, and love to help others when I can, but I also believe you shouldn't take others kindness for granted. A thank you to let them know how much they are appreciated is important too. So, I add my thanks to all you generous campers who take time from their busy days to help answer our newbie questions. I thank you for taking the time to make your post and all of us who contribute do appreciate the kind comments. But do not think that anyone here ever reaches a point where we no longer need any help, support, or information from other members or even from new folks such as yourself. I have been around as long as most here, yet at this time there is a thread running in the travel section where I went to ask for help and advice. Between the fact that things are constantly changing and that none of us ever know everything, there are bound to be times that even the newest members can contribute information to all here, even the most experienced of us. That is why new members are so important to a forum such as this. It is new folks who keep the forums active, healthy, and worth reading!

 

Thank you to all of you have only recently joined the Escapee Forums! It is people like you who are the lifeblood of any good forum.

I'm with Kirk on this one. Newbies have new knowledge and ways of seeing thing that we can all learn from. I don't care how long you have been RVing, if you see something you think might help the rest of us, please, post it. Otherwise, some of us will keep doing the same old things in the same old ways since we don't know there is a new, better way to do it. I know this is true because I had that experience in a different hobby--of being the newbie with a new point of view that actually caused a major change in the hobby. So, please, tell us what we might do differently.

well the old saying can't teach old dog new tricks, well there are plenty of ways to teach that old dog a different way of doing that trick. i have been on both ends helped out an was helped. great experience so far.
