2gypsies
The rent at Birchwood RV in Durham is $430/month which seems very reasonable for that area. However, they don't state anything like yearly rent or seasonal rent which leads me to believe that perhaps they would not allow permanent occupancy. Some parks don't. Be sure to check on that. Otherwise, if you can find your RV, this park looks very nice. BarbDan17
Just to give you an idea of cost and floorplans of used travel trailers, here's a site you might want to check out. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/travelt/travel-trailers.php We were at PPL over New Years. We were looking for a Motorhome and had inquired about trading in our truck and travel trailer. The salesman suggested we try to sell them ourselves, because they have such a glut of travel trailers due to the decline in gas prices all the oil field workers no longer need their trailers. So the OP may have a great opportunity at PPL for buying a TT in Texas.
