Al F
Nice looking coach. Where is it located? Is this a private sale or is the coach on a dealer lot? Would you document how you came up with NADA pricing of $122K & $110K? Going to NADA online for your rig I come up with: Values Print SuggestedList Price LowRetail AverageRetail Base Price $219,968 $87,850 $105,850 Options: (add) TOTAL PRICE: $219,968 $87,850 $105,850 Well that didn't format well. The Low retail is $88K and Average retail is $106K
TXiceman
Al, lots of folks misuse NADA and add every single item on the RV. If you note at the top of the pricing list, you do not add items that are standard on the model. And in truth, most of the added items add very little to the resale value of the RV. It does not hurt to start a little high so that you have some wiggle room to negotiate, but too high and you may scare off some potential buyers. Ken I am interested in the MH and have checked any RV I am interested in with NADA. Like you I have seen folks click on a lot of items in the NADA option list which are standard features. Anyways I though I would see if the OP would care to provide some information on how they arrived at the NADA price.
moisheh
To get a realistic NADA you do not add anything. Just the basic price. Even then the price may be high. Add ons that are not listed on NADA are nice but add ZERO to the value.
TXiceman
The original poster has not been back. He must have had his feelings hurt. WE all want to get as much as possible for a sale, but we need to be reasonable and price according to the market. Ken
earlvillestu
There are two 41' 2008 Discovery models listed on the PPL sold units page. Both sold in the mid 90s.
spindrift
Personally, I see nothing wrong with the poster's asking price. Folks who are afraid to make offers because, in their opinion, the asking price is too high are missing a possible opportunity.
Biker56
How many of the 2 AC's are heat Pump models? What is the BTU of each? Does it have a Washer/Dryer?
jmccon2
Hello all. Sorry about not responding sooner - there was a death in the family and frankly, I forgot all about this. But in answer to the questions - I'm located in Phoenix, Arizona There is not a washer/dryer unit in the RV, but it is pre-wired for the washer/dryer. I've been looking, but cannot find - does 'pre wired' mean the same as 'plumbed'. I've asked fleetwood.com but I haven't heard anything back yet. And no - my feelings are not hurt If I'm going to post in a forum, I need to be prepared to have the 'discussion' that is integral to a forum setting. Kirk W
If you look into the space where the connections for the washer/dryer are located, you should be able to see the connections for them. There would be at least one and probably two power outlets to plug into and there should be water fittings there for connecting the hot and cold to the washer as well as a drain line for it. They are typically at the rear of the space but could be on the side, near the back. If in doubt, you could always post a picture of the inside of the space provided for them. coachmac9
We have an older Discovery DP and absolutely love it. If it is like ours you can also access the washer/dryer plumbing and electric hook-ups from the bedroom closet. There is a wooden panel that just unscrews and exposes all the washer/dryer hook-ups so it can be installed from the front and hooked up very easily from the back.
