Jack Mayer
The only Passions I saw without paddles - had cruise control. OK, gotcha. And I think that is right. I've never seen a Passion without paddle shifters AND without cruise.... Jack & Danielle Mayer #60376 Lifetime Member Living on the road since 2000PLEASE no PM's. chiefneon
Howdy! When we got our 2012 Passion I was told that you had a choice between paddle shifters or cruise control but not both. We chose cruise control. That why I asked about it when I looked at the new 2016, and the salesman stated cruise was standard on the 2016. DJW
Back in 2006 we installed an aftermarket cruise in our 2003 Passion Cabrio (by the way that is the correct term) as there are no smart convertiables only roadsters. We drove it 1140 miles in one day with enough luggage for 2 adults packed with enough cloths for a 2 month stay. It was a long day but not really a bad ride. I miss the cute little thing. HERO Maker
My 2013 (before the head on) had cruise and no paddles shifters. My 2015 has paddles but had to add (ok, really Brad did) the after market cruise. Like the cruise, but really don't like the paddles. It seems I am hitting them every once in a while, and then it goes into manual mode. Have to rock the center shifter back and forth to get it out. Of course you don't now that until you are about way to high in the engine revs. Rocky & Sheri Rhoades '01 Volvo 770 2016 DRV Mobile Suites, HoustonHERO Makers Ministry
Brad & Jacolyn
Rocky, if you bump the paddles and go into manual just hold the up shift paddle for a couple of seconds and it will go back to automatic. At least mine does. Glad you are enjoying the cruise. Buscrusher
Yep. You just hold on to the Upshift paddle for maybe 3 seconds and the display changes from the number back to "D".
