hobopals
After a long disability, I finally think I can travel again with one caveat. I need to do Aqua therapy three times per week. Is anyone in this situation, and if you are have you found places such as gold's gym, or other fitness facilities outside of big cities in the west. Thank you in advance for any answers, advice, or suggestions. Have you found that motels will let you use their pools for a fee?
SWharton
Community Centers generally charge a nominal fee. The cg we are in currently(Phoenix) has an indoor pool available.
hobopals
Thank you SWarton. I hadn't considered community centers which was not very bright of me as it's where I do my therapy, now! Some of the churches in my area have pools, too, but I'm not sure whether I have to be a member or not to use them once or twice. However, both offer possibilities. Again, thank you. Barbaraok
Loads of parks have pools - do you need a physical therapist to monitor, or is it just a series of exercises that you need to do? The park we are at has several different groups that met several times a day - pool walkers, aqua aerobics, and other activities and all of the pools are heated in the winter. hobopals
Thank you for your responses Pete & Pat and Barbaraok. Â YMCA is a great idea, Pete & Pat. Â Barbaric, I do not need a physical therapist. I do a 2 hour series of exercises that I do since spending a lot of time in aqua therapy with a therapist. My doctor said I should continue to do them for as long as I can along with some medication to keep pain under control. I knew that some of the more expensive parks offer heated pools, and in the summer some private parks, but I'll be on the move with no planned route for 6 months to a year. I'm encouraged that I can buy another trailer in the spring after hearing these suggestions so that I can live my dream and head west, again. Â Again, thank you all. 2gypsies
Contact your local Senior Services Dept. if you're a senior . They will have recommendations for you.

Alie&Jim's Carrilite
Another idea would be to check with the local orthopedic doctors. The hospital that did both my knee surgeries and back had a pool for rehab. Possibly for a small donation you could have access as well.
hobopals
Wow, thanks everyone for so many suggestions. I can't wait to hit the road, again. Unfortunately, it will be out my companion. He's the guy in the blue hat. Because of travel and camping, he had a wonderful life and filled mine with many memories. Again, thank you all for helping me get started, again.
