Zulu
Like others under 65, my wife has to select a new health insurance carrier because her current plan provider, BCBS, won't be offering PPO plans in AZ in 2016.The good news is that there are providers in AZ who are offering PPO plans, but how do you chose a new provider?First, I used www.healthsherpa.com to determine what plans are available. Then in Consumer Reports I found the NCQA ratings which appear to give a statistically valid method of evaluating health insurance carriers (see below). These ratings for each state are available on www.consumerreports.org. A yearly subscription is $30.
trostberg
Are there rating for the health ministry plans or any of the short term medical plans as well?
