Our MH is wired for 50A but we don't have a problem using a 30A Autoformer. When I bought it I figured that the device would most likely be needed at smaller, rural parks which probably only had 30A sites anyway. We don't find it all that much of a hardship to use 30A as long as we're not in a location where constant A/C use is necessary. I like the smaller size and weight of the 30A Autoformer (and the lower price).
