Toddleti
I was cleaning the roof on our camper and found mold or mildew on the edge right where the rubber roof meets the gutter, it looks like it has stained the roof rubber. Tried to scrub on it with roof cleaner and dish soap with no luck. It looks like it has started under the cocking they put on the top of the gutter. Not sure how to clean or stop it. Any help would be great. Thanks
Pat & Pete
You might try a bit of Awesome . It works great on our aluminum roof . Not sure about rubber , although it doesn't seem to harm my tires a bit . Apply , scrub and rinse well . As always , read the label .
Kirk W
Be very careful what you use on your roof as it really isn't rubber but EDPM. There are many products that will damage the material. If the discoloration is under the caulking you will need to remove that caulking, clean the area and put on new caulking. If it is only cosmetic, I'd not worry about it since it doesn't show from the ground. Very few visitors will ever be up on your roof!
Mracenjason
I agree with the statement above. If it ain't leaking don't mess with it. I have a 40 year old Winnebago and have had about a million leaks. If I actually find a part that doesn't leak I am happy. Leave it be.

Ray,IN
If there is mold under the caulking, you need to remove the caulking, clean the area and spread new caulking. The only way mold will form/grow is with the presence of moisture, that means moisture is under the old caulking.
