Microsoft released new information on Laptops, Tablet & Lumia Phones all using Windows 10. The New 950 and 950XL phones will have 20mp cameras, 4 K Video. They come with 32GB of storage and up to 2 TB's of storage with memory card

Really interesting devices AND software. The new 950 XL and 950 have "Continuum" and when used with the Microsoft Display Dock made specifically for the Lumia phones, the phone becomes a desktop? Yes. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/mobile/phone/lumia950-xl/features/

 

We don't use or buy the top end phones, and this time we went new and current mid point phones, the Lumia 735. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/mobile/phone/lumia735/specifications/?dcmpid=omc-org-globalsite.globalredirect#head_video-and-audio It has a 720 HD OLED screen that looks as good as 1080 HD because of the superior blacks and color saturation. Our phones are called the "selfie" phone because the back camera is 6.7 Megapixel full HD 1080p, but the front camera is a whopping 5 Megapixel for full 1080p HD "selfies" with the Zeiss lenses and they record full HD video too. These were free when we traded in our old phones and our monthly bill is the same as before with 3GB of data. We got some cases from Amazon and tempered glass screen protectors with rounded edges. We've only had them a couple of weeks now and my SH, who never had a Windows phone before, adapted from her Straight Talk Android 4,0 phone to it easily. Now she already backs up her phone to her PC and syncs the photos and docs. I did have the Nokia Lumia 822 and these quad core phones run circles around my old dual core phone.

 

So we're getting a tiny taste of the new Microsoft. I think they are finally on the right track and have become competitive, even fun, again. And now they are making their own ultra laptops, as well as the best tablets and phones on the planet, ecosphere and capabilities wise.
