SpaceNorman
Our 2012 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 43 DFT has a toilet with an electronic flush and macerating action. The toilet seems to work fine - however, the buttons that the user pushes to activate the flush are terrible. The buttons are those "soft" buttons - which seem to have gotten a little finicky after a couple of years of use. A simple touch isn't enough - you must be careful to place your fingers on the pads just right - and then "put a little muscle" into pushing them. Getting that toilet to flush is starting to take a little work. I'd like to fix it ... but can't tell if it's a failing part, a design issue (i.e., a characteristic of the "soft" button) or a combination of both.Anybody else encounter this problem? Did you fix it ... and how? Thanks! SpaceNorman
What brand is it? Thetford has a model, Tecma, that the pad can be replaced. That's exactly what the dealer asked me today when I included this on my list of things I want looked at on my "annual" maintenance visit that I'm in the process of scheduling. I'm actually about to swing past the storage lot to look at the manual - and take a picture of the buttons in question.
