G&K
Our 2008 Volvo 780 is for sale. Very low miles, approx 575,000 miles or 917,000 km. The critical 500,000 mile service has been done. D-16 Volvo with 535hp 1850 torque. Ishift 12-speed automated transmission. 13,200 lb front axle. 2 x 150 gal fuel tanks. Tandem with lockers on both drive axles in addition to the usual inter-axle diff lock. Every owner-operator option that was available except for auto climate control is on this truck. It has a fridge, factory frame-mounted inverter for cab 120v power, microwave, updated Kenwood stereo with bluetooth and usb music, factory power amp and subwoofer, and factory sink with running water. It also has an Eberspacher D4 diesel-fired cab heater. The lower bunk converts to a workstation. The upper bunk is fixed in position. We have the restraint nets for both bunks. There is a stack of tool boxes forming a drom at the front of the bed. A 5.5 kw Chinese diesel generator is mounted on the frame for the toolboxes and wired to the truck batteries for starting. This is a 240V unit that powers both legs and will run one AC quite happily. Four new batteries were installed this summer. Headlights converted to HID from Deep Space Lighting. Headlights and driving/fogs polished and clear coated. Replaced the exhaust tips with new chrome ones. All outer wheels were taken off the truck and polished this summer. MaxBrake controller, ET Jackalopee commercial to RV wiring converter. Driver and passenger doors replaced this summer by Volvo under warranty. New 2016 front bumper installed this summer. Major service completed at Sheehan's Truck Center in Burlington this summer. I have put around 9000kms on a road trip from Nashville to Toronto to Victoria this summer, its purring like a kitten! Emissions test was done at Sheehan's, opacity was 0.1, the limit is 31!! We have owned the Volvo since Feb 2012. I have asked Volvo for a build sheet and will post it when it arrives. I have a recent weight sheet from this summer showing per-wheel weights, including the effects of hooking up a 5th wheel trailer. I have all invoices since date of purchase. The truck was in 80,000lb line-haul service between Canada and the USA for its working life. The unit is currently near Victoria, BC and is registered as a legal motorhome in Ontario. The air-tilting Smart Bed was built by 2L Custom Trucks in Pooleville, Texas and modified by JW Morgan to its current configuration. The hitch is a TrailerSaver 32K non-air. The bed was built to accommodate one of Henry's ET Air Hitches. We're looking for $49,500 US dollars or a very good offer. The unit is available immediately. billr
I had the pleasure of meeting George this summer and weighed his rig here in the Soo. The truck is in real nice shape looks great love the bed and tool boxes! Perfect set up for someone looking to get a turn key unit. The price could not be matched if trying to source a truck and build Good luck your sale George Bill
G&K
Looks nice! Why are you selling? Unfortunately I have a divorce coming up. One of my jobs is selling the Volvo and the Mobile Suites. Geo

G&K
I'm very sorry for the slow response. I have a prospective buyer flying in tomorrow to confirm an offer. This involves both the truck and fiver. As soon as I know something I will report back. Geo

G&K
Indeed. That is pretty serious interest. Truck and RV are both sold. I get one final delivery road trip. Thank you very much to everyone, your help and support is greatly appreciated!! Please note the truck sold in just a few days and was only advertised here, the RV sold without being advertised at all. Geo

G&K
Good point. Firefox on a Mac. How do you edit a topic title? I know what sounds dumb, but I see nothing obvious.
Bob Cochran
Sad to see you loose it but things happen.
DJW
George Go back to your original post and use the full edit button. That will allow you to edit everything including the thread title. Just add SOLD to the thread title and hit save. Sorry to see it go. It was a beautiful rig. It was the same color as our 99 770.
