whatsnext
Not sure if we will have any "time" during the Rally but does the RV Park at the Fairgrounds in Hutchinson allow campfires? If they do then we'll probably bring some wood, just in case...... David
HERO Maker
Last time I checked - no campfires. Not sure if that includes the propane campfires or if they are allowed. Don't bring your wood. You can call the fairgrounds tomorrow and see if they changed their policy.
jkoenig24
In some (many?) places, it is illegal to "import" firewood. Too many "nasties" can be carried in firewood thus infecting new areas. Be safe, get local wood where campfires are allowed.
whatsnext
Very true on the import of wood. SC has that regulation as do many other areas. Alas, we will not be having a traditional campfire as the RV Park at Hutch does not allow them. I guess we'll have to let the good drinks and good company keep us warm.
