Kimberly
I knew something was wrong when I jacked up on a uneven Coe site. Bent the dang leg and couldn't get it to raise up all the way. Used the manual crank to at least get it high 'nuff to hitch up. Bevel gear is stripped. Have to stay hitched until Tuesday + to get it replaced. I really would like to install a level up system and now is a good time.
Bobi and Dick McKee
We have the Big Foot system on our Hitch Hiker and love it. It is amazing how much time it saves when setting up and tearing down. I especially like the feature that returns the pin of the trailer to the same height as when you unhook. Makes it a snap to back on to the trailer. The other feature I like is that each leg has its own pump and reservoir. If one leg mal functions, thankfully in 4 years we haven't experienced that, you know right where to go to fix it.
remoandiris
I think just the opposite. Level Up is just one more thing to go wrong. Ordered it on a Cyclone toyhauler 2 yrs ago. It malfunctioned twice. Was able to correct after some fiddling. Came as a forced option on current 5er. Has choked a few times, but the fix was easy...remove/re-insert 10A fuse. Yes, minor things, but could get really dorked. Fixing could be messy. Auto trans fluid all over the place. Reality is Level Up and Bigfoot are on hundreds of 5ers and there aren't many problems that I have seen posted.

Can't speak for Level Up (newer to the game) but Big Foot is on hundreds of RV and ours has been rock solid for 9 years now.
GlennWest
My electric jacks are slow but they are cheap to fix if something happens. I sorta want the Bigfoot system but it is expensive and my system works. Doesn't take long to set up and is inexpensive. Don't see me upgrading

We had the same thing happen to us, and after doing much research had the Big Foot 6pt auto level system installed on our Cyclone 3010. It is FANTASTIC! Safe travels. NoDirectionHome
$4K - 5K seems way out of line for any leveling system. You could put together 4-6 electric ballscrew actuators with a controller for less that half that. Hydraulics also seem very old school these days for a relatively light load. Just my 2 cents

Just my 2 cents Is that what you are using? No, it wasn't cheap, but neither was our Cyclone. It also has a warranty. The key fob is great also. Hit one button and walk away from it, and in about 2 minutes the trailer is level and "solid". Push the button on the key fob, and the trailer is ready to hook up again. Worth every penny. At least to us. Opinions will vary though.
Dennis M
Put the Bigfoot on when we bought the fiver in 2007. Has always worked worked great and probably saved our marriage - DW hated putting down blocks and guiding me back onto them with the little fiver. When we got this one with the duals she said "no way!"
