singling question

This is the carrier that I was talking about in the other thread. You cut your difflock slice in your current housing, close up the output shaft hole, drop her in, install your new difflock axle shaft, and she's instant "factory single". Driveline, springs, housing, etc stay as is.

That won't help most of the Volvo guys, Scrap. Based on my observation, it seems that most Volvos have Meritor axles.

Hi Glenn - 55 single axle sleeper tractors come up on truck paper dot com at the moment. http://www.truckpaper.com/list/list.aspx?pg=3&ETID=1&catid=210&PF=5000&PT=30000&Axle=Single&SO=2&mdlx=contains&bcatid=27&Pref=0&Thumbs=1&scf=false

Searched class 8, conventionals with sleeper, single axle $5K to $30K price.

I'm guessing single axles get used in nice light GVW over the road work ... find one with a nice file of maintenance records...

"Are we there yet?" asked no motorcycle rider, ever.
