Kinsa
In 1996 I was a fresh new lieutenant, and my bright, hopeful outlook on life was shaken to the core when an airman I worked with was killed during the terrorist bombing of Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia. I attended the somber memorial service at Wright-Patterson AFB for A1C Christopher Lester, watching as his parents and loved ones were deep in their grief, and I left with a new view on what life in the military really means. Little did we know then that it was merely a precursor to the impending 9-11 attacks. Finally, nearly 20 years later, the evil mastermind has been captured. http://news.yahoo.com/suspect-1996-khobar-towers-bombing-arrested-125307152--politics.html Stephen & Karen and our six boys, ages 21, 21, 19, 17, 14, & 11 Stephen - Military retiree (as of summer 2012) & current DOI employee (Big Bend National Park) Karen - Homeschooling stay-at-home mom & veteran San Antonio, Texas Fulltimed May 2013 - July 2014 (yes, all eight of us!) skp51443
I'm glad to hear they got him, hopefully we will have the guts to deal with him in a just manner.
