Seeria Posted August 24, 2015 Report Share Posted August 24, 2015 We're currently making our way out of these fires in the Oregon area and heading across southern Idaho. I see there are several areas around the CJ Strike Reservoir but the highway 78 route isn't in great shape due to the Soda fires. We're considering using 51 instead. Can anyone give info on the drive? I84 to 51 to 78 and around to the boondock areas? We're a long bed crew truck pulling a 36' 5th wheeler. Any areas we'd have trouble? Any steep grades?
