brunsje
Folks, I need your help again. Would like a nice spot for our 45' motorhome and Toad in or around Reno / Lake Tahoe area. I have tried RVParkReviews and most are kinda old and tight or casino parking lots. Thanks, JohnnyB
MrSeas
How 'bout Sparks NV? Try "Sparks Marina RV".
Chad Heiser
I second the vote for Sparks Marina and RV resort. It is where we held the West Coast Rally. It is a nice clean park at a reasonable rate and can easily accommodate your rig.
HamRad
What the others have said. Sparks Marina RV park is a very nice park and your big rig would be no problem. For another option there is a relatively nice park on the northwest side of town. It is called the Shamrock RV park. Not sure you'd have as much room as at the Marina but they would probably work something out for you. In the Tahoe area there is a nice park ---- I've not stayed at it. Zephyr Cove. It is on the southeast side of the lake. Good luck and have fun. Dennis
Bobi and Dick McKee
We like Silver City Resort in Minden. Very quiet, close to Tahoe and Carson City, about 25 minutes to down town Reno. The Carson Valley with Minden, Genoa and Gardnerville are gorgeous.

Tahoe Shark
Go to Gold Ranch RV park in Verdi. Extremely nice.
missourijan
We used to live there so we are familiar with the parks. Sparks Marina, Gold Ranch in Verdi, Grand Sierra RV Resort are the best in the area. Easiest access and bigger sites. Since we've been fulltime we've stayed at Shamrock, it's very tight for bigger rigs. There's a KOA at Boomtown Casino, sites are really tight. At Grand Sierra the 30 amp back in sites are $170 for a week. They also have long, flat 50 amp pull thru's
tinstartrvlr
Sparks Marina is nice but it is in the thick of it all-lots of noise and traffic in the area (freeway, sirens, etc). Victorian RV park in Sparks is also very nice but extremely tight, and even noisier than the Marina. Boomtown KOA is very quiet, nice views, but sites are a little tight, but not as tight as Victorian Looked at Gold Ranch and it seemed nice, but didn't get the opportunity to try it out. Hope this helps.
bobsallyh
We have used Gold Ranch when we are at the National Air Races in Reno. We have a 40' fiver and a dually crew cab and had no problem. Just a short hop into the bright lights of Reno.
DMcGiffin
Check out http://shamrockrv.com/ Great park with a monthly rate when I was there in October was $400. Easy access off of US 395. Interior streets a little tight but I had no problems with my 38' MH. Nice little casino just down the street with very good food.
