Jmorris
Ran across this picture on a Facebook post for http://www.facebook.com/SuperShowRigs. Holly wheelbase Batman! I thought the folks here might like it. I think you could easily slip a smart car on there with plenty of room. But it might bring up the over length issue again. traxman25
I saw this pic the other day. Good looking truck IMO. He looks to be about as long as my build. There's no way he's registered as a motor home so he probably does not have the length restrictions. Commercial trucks have different rules to play by. Alie&Jim's Carrilite
Bet he's over the 65' length! Nice setup, but it takes 10 acres to turn around in!
Big5er
Bet he's over the 65' length! That is why he has no bed and no smart or other car. He is still a "truck tractor" and not a "truck". A truck tractor has no length max and can haul a 59 ft trailer (in Texas and commercial vehicles on the Federal Interstate system) but a truck and trailer combo can only be 65ft (again, in Texas). Once you put a load carrying bed on a truck tractor it becomes a truck. Vehicle Type Length Limit Single Motor Vehicle 45 feet Truck-tractor Unlimited Semitrailer, of two-vehicle combination 59 feet Two- or Three-Vehicle combination other than truck-tractor & semitrailer 65 feet Each trailer or semitrailer of a twin-trailer combination 28.5 feet Traditional boat/auto transporter combination 65 feet Commercial truck & stinger-steered semitrailer transporting autos/boats 75 feet Front overhang 3 feet Rear overhang 4 feet Downloadable brochure with pictures

Can you imagine the carry on parking a rig like that with a bunch of campground traffic directors? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FXVBYoo_qg

I thought it was 53 ft, that is the lomgest i have seen printed on a trailer, and what i rembered from the cdl book a few years ago.

Brad & Jacolyn
The old song says 'Give me 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around' not 10.
