Thinking of an Argosy for a truck conversion project?

One of the huge Tillamook Dairy Co-op farms from the North Oregon Coast has a stunning fleet of Metallic Emerald Green hay-hauling Argosy tractors with matching 44 flats and 28 pups all decked out with gold trim and lettering ..........(Ok Tillamook cheese is spendy..... but look at the trucks....)

We were driving from Bend to Salem over the North Santiam pass on a perfect summer day a couple weeks ago and one of the Emerald Argosy's glided past us just out of bend loaded high with 4,000 lb bales and three more Emerald Argosy's were cinching straps at the Hoo Do Summit and we met two or three more empty Emerald Argosy's headed East bound back to load out with more hay.........

To top that off we met two gun-metal metal-flake interstate Argosy gas tankers w/ pups with all of stainless polished like a mirror........

With all the Argosy's gliding up and down the stunning snow capped Cascade peaks the wife remarked it was sorta like a two-hour IMAX Argosy commercial............all the other trucks sorta looked like..................plain ole trucks...........

Drive on............( What a view........no hood in the way)

Costs about $18K to get an XF over here by boat and it pushes near $100K to get one over here on two airplanes. Some assembly required....

At least you know where to find a few folks that can help you with the assembly, Scrap.

I thought that maybe you knew a few guys at work that would know something about truck assembly. Now I'm half afraid to drive my T2000!:unsure::wacko::wacko::blink::blink:

Maybe the Kenworth hands in Ohio are more knowledgeable and better qualified. <crossing fingers> :D:P:lol:
