SOLD - '07 Honda CR-V tow car w/ Blue Ox tow gear, Air Force One brake system

Recommended Posts

Great chance to get one of the best tow cars available, fully equipped with like-new tow gear. Selling our automatic 2007 Honda CR-V with 65,000 miles. Was a California car from new until a year ago. We are the second owners. One of the easiest cars to tow 4 wheels down, without having to do anything special. Has a tow system that cost nearly $4,000 about 18 months ago, used only for 2,300 miles of towing. Includes the very popular Blue Ox baseplate, Blue Ox quick-connect tow bar, safety cables, electrical cable, breakaway switch and tow gear cover. Pictured below are the detachable pins in the baseplate that the tow bar attaches to. These are easily removed to make the toad look less like a toad.

If you have a diesel coach with an air brake system, you can also use the built-in Air Force One tow car braking system. All you do is make one extra connection when you hook-up, attaching a quick-connect air hose from the RV to the car, and the tow-car braking system is automatic and invisible to you. Braking systems for tow cars are now legally required in several states and Canada. Most serious RVers with Class A motor homes towing cars no longer consider it safe to travel without a tow car braking system. This is the box hidden under the hood, which is all you see of the braking system.
