Rgdl
Now that's a long combo! I like it too..... I understand all the Smart haulers on here, but I like Jeeps! You can't 4 wheel a Smart.....well not my own anyway! My thoughts exactly...lol I like rock crawling and I've already been to Moab and Johnson Valley (The Hammers). When I retire I want to travel the winters throughout the SW States to all the offroad parks.
Rgdl
That depends on who is close by when I'm talking. With the bikes on the back of the 5th, we are about 72'. We pulled with a MDT for 14 years, and towed the Jeep, and with that setup, we were 75'. Done that in just about every state in the Southern US, from Kansas to the Atlantic, and Pacific. Had a camera and brakes on the Jeep, and felt safe, but couldn't backup worth a flip. I am more happy with this rig though, and the "Top Dog" is MUCH more happy. BTW, I am going to try again to post that pic now, and if successful, does that make me a GEEK? I have been trying to post pics on this site for 5 years. Here goes!! Dick T Here's a link to that photo.http://s1001.photobucket.com/user/richardtarwater/media/Cache%20Mobile_zpsg7ww15um.jpg.html Success!! You got a pic posted Nice set-up. I like it. Rgdl
That's a beautiful EB. Top is how we use to do it The trailer is how we haul it now. What toy hauler do you have?
Broncohauler
Rgdl Thanks for the comment on the bronco We use it trust me:) The trailer is a 35ft weekend warrior, that I had the factory custom build to 37ft and raise the rear bed a couple extra inches. We also just upgraded the axles to 7000lb and Swapped to 17.5 commercial grade trailer tires.

Broncohauler
. And this is the wife's toy. I bought it for her to use around camp. But now she drives it all over the desert won't ride in the bronco unless it rains.

cactus
How it looks at car shows now And trust me we don't tie it down this way its just for the show. We don't real haul this way very often unless we make a day run to the desert. Or tow our boat at the same time. Now days the bronco is in our toy hauler and my wives long travel rhnio is on the deck side ways. Great lookin` rig. Your pride is evident. maveric
A little off topic, but how would you change the rear tires on the tractor? That bed looks hard to work around. I'm working on the CAD for the bed now. You're right, it makes a crazy mess right now. Still a lot to do, but it's getting there. I'm happy with the progress so far. View High Resolution Photo As soon as I get the tie down system finalized, I'll work that into the CAD as well.
