spindrift
You just gotta love when your child calls you the day before they're leaving and says, "hey pop, we're leaving for austin tomorrow. Do you know any good spots where we can camp?" Oh boy! I know they don't have any time to spare taking anything but a fairly direct route. And they've already been through the Nashville area. Any shoot from the hip ideas? They're in a tent, btw. I suggested the Ozarks but they may be too far out of the way. Thanks for any and all suggestions. Last time we went up through Oklahoma, 75 and 69 were not all that smooth, but lately what roads are smooth. Ken
spindrift
Sorry, I'm not looking for a route exactly, but significant POIs along the most direct routes.
