Polishing

G&K

Recommended Posts

I need to pick up the rig from JW outside Nashville in next month, then will head north either up I-75 or I-95 on my way to Toronto for emissions certification so I can re-register in Ontario.

I really need to get everything polished. Truck, trailer and wheels on both in particular. Ideally not create too much downtime on the way, and less expensive and a good job is preferable. I will detour if anyone has a good suggestion.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!!

Google up "Nashville truck detailers", all kinds pop up.

Welcome back.

Thanks Roger. If you are around lets find a cup of coffee or something. I expect to be in town for another couple of weeks...

Yup. I'm in Sidney next to the town works yard on eighth st.

Not sure what we're doing. It's easiest to keep the tandem hauler registered in Ontario.

We may yet end up back overseas.

I'm in and out of Vic a couple of times per week.

Well how bout that.

Call me 403 970 9597, its a Calgary # but I'm going to keep it for now. I'm at Ft Vic RV park. House has sold in Calgary, am Trailertrash now.

There's a lite lunch / bakery place on Beacon called Lunds or if you have a favourite place that's fine by me.

It is possible to get your Hauler into BC and the trailer as well. Have either been registered in Canada before? Seems a lot of bother to hike to Ontario to go RVing.

  • 1 month later...

Ended up getting the tractor wheels polished by a mobile independent who Sheehans use and that came to their shop. All the outers were removed, sanded and polished. They look better than new!!

$500 cash to do all six. It took a full day, they were pretty rough.

If you have it please PM me the contact info for the mobile fellow. Or if you are talking Colin you could give it to him, he has my truck.

Thanks

Coopers Truck Polishing. Aaron Cooper.

He works all over the GTA with (I believe) his brother.

(905) 541-1326. Highly recommended based on the work he did for me.
