gjhunter01
We have just finished two camp host assignments in Northern CA and are now heading East to continue our adventure. Both camp grounds have openings for the remaining summer or next year if anyone is interested. Prairie Creek Redwoods, State/National - Ranger Danielle, 707-502-4997 Humbolt Redwoods (Avenue Of The Giants), State - Ranger Aid Sylvia, 707-502-9599 You will need to fill out a application and get finger printed at a cost of about $20 ea., but the experience of camping in the redwoods with FHU for a extended time period is almost priceless. budeneighe
How big are the hosts sites? We are 40', 65' hooked up. They don't have much info on their sites about all this. gjhunter01
My Chevy, fifth wheel and attached swivel trailer are 61' long. The 2 different host sites we were assigned were large and sunny spots, some of the smaller sites were in the trees. You might want to ask about the maintenance volunteer openings, mowing and/or handyman. Greg http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=
