JRP
Ouch! The FCC just fined AT&T $100 million, the largest FCC fine in history, for throttling "unlimited" data users. http://news.yahoo.com/t-hit-100m-fine-unlimited-data-plans-160804340--finance.html Jim

whj469
Yes they all do it but ATT didn't tell you that they did and the others stated that they would do it. They don't want to honor the unlimited plans.
mptjelgin
Oh good. So if this holds up, the FCC gets $100 million. Which will get passed onto customers one way or another. And AT&T will continue to throttle data (just like the other companies) but they'll disclose it. What a fantastic victory for consumers... Smitty77_7
Follow the money:)! FCC basically tells ATT "You want Direct TV? Well then you'll need to anti up on a 'fine', and not complain about it." IMO, another example where the FCC has become too big for it's bridges, and not looking out for the masses. In what universe is allowing ATT to gobble up Direct TV good for the consumer? Too many conflicts, and you can bet that Universe will gain in the long term, via this takeover of Direct TV. Oh yeah, follow the money? FCC just picked up $100M... Who, and where, is the accountability of where these funds are spent? It ain't paranoid if it's true!!!!! Heck, go back and read what Gord and Maximum Signal went thru, with an FCC and Congressional input 'assisting' the process:)!!! Best to all, may the signal be with you, Smitty Be safe, have fun, Smitty 04 CC Allure "RooII" - Our "E" ride for life!
