sandsys Posted June 16, 2015 Report Share Posted June 16, 2015 It sort of shows the driver behind what clearance is ahead to know if there is room to pass or not. But, the vehicle ahead looked a lot further away on the display than it looked from the side lane. Kind of the way my backup camera distorted the image causing me to almost back into a rig parked behind me. I would not risk the liability of having one of these displays on my rig since the driver behind me would not likely know how to compensate for that distortion.
