SWharton
My daughter and son-in-law have bought their first box trailer. They need towing mirrors that they can move from a Ford pu truck to a Toyota Sienna. We havent' dealt with mirrors in 20 years. Are their any god mirrors out there? Have they been improved from the past?
theeyres
There are great mirrors out there--the CIPA mirrors. Just do a search and you will find them. They are rock solid. The reason is because they fit to the specific truck mirrors so you can't move them between different trucks. It would be worth it to me to buy separate sets for each truck. SWharton
Thanks for the input. I looked at the reviews and was impressed. Wish they had these when we were towing years ago.
Dennis M
McKesh mirrors work great and can be easily switched from vehicle to vehicle. Used a pair for years towing race cars in box trailers as well as fivers and they are very steady. Never marked the side of the doors either. Ray,IN
I've towed trailers of some sort for several decades using the simple strap-on towing mirrors. (BTW, that is expensive website)They are not vehicle specific, and will fit virtually any outside rear-view mirror. Our last 5er was towed a bit over 50,000 miles throughout the U.S.A. and CA. using these strap-on mirrors. 2000 Winnebago Ultimate Freedom USQ40JD, ISC 8.3 Cummins 350, Spartan MM Chassis.
