Hiding Signatures and the Big Images in some of them

Recommended Posts

You have an option under your preferences (see the little down-arrow after your user name at the top right of the forum page) to hide signatures, either all of them or just ones that aggravate you for some reason.

To hide them all just tick the single box at the top of the page, scroll to the bottom and click the Save button.

To hide just the aggravating ones you need to copy the user name of the post you want to hide before moving to the preferences page (or if doing a batch open the pref page in a new tab) and putting it on the user line near the bottom of the page. Then click the Signature box and Save. Go back and refresh the page and the signature should be gone.

You can also hide posts and block PMs on that page. A hidden post still shows a note that it is there but the body of it is hidden.

Another option to just hide the pictures is to use your ad blocking software, usually just right-click on the image and pick Hide off the menu that pops up. I tend to use the ad-blocker option the most as it is less work and I still get to see the rest of the signature which often has interesting stuff in it.
