spindrift
If so, it would be nice to see a close-up of their ramping method.
HERO Maker
Looks like Alicia and Rick White (RickW). I agree. But it's a jeep! Does it really need a ramping method!
Big5er
If so, it would be nice to see a close-up of their ramping method. Rick's ramps are kept under the upper section of the bed. The little ramp on the bed, between the lower and upper sections, lifts up, the ramps slide out and attach to the rails on the end of the bed....sorry but this is the only picture I could find of the bed. Big5er
Rick and Alicia enjoy Yellowstone frequently and live in Texas. Any possibility it is along that route??
RickW
Yes that was us and if you look hard I was standing on the right front tire fixing the windshield wiper ....... !@#$%&*(!#$ This was last Friday (5/15). We were at the top of Raton Pass (I-25 N/B) on the Colorado Side. Headed to Colorado Springs to spend the weekend with another member from around here before heading off to Yellowstone (where we be now). So who posted us on Facebook? Here is a photo of unloading the old Jeep.

Jack Mayer
Rick, are you here THIS weekend? Visiting Trey? We are just up the hill in Woodland Park, but we are working for the next two days. Off Sunday.
TreyandSusan
Nope, guessing Rick and Alicia are visiting Mike and Suzan on their way to Yellowstone. Couldn't find a spot in the Springs or Peublo with 4g (for work) so we had to expand the search finally landing in Coaldale (about 80 miles SW of y'all). Apparently some of the campgrounds are filling with workers for a wind farm to be built nearby plus Graduation time and Memorial day. We'll be here until the first of June and hopefully we can squeeze in a visit sometime that week. We got a few days window at Falcon RV park - just enough time to get an appointment with Bob for a Truck checkup. Couldn't even get a spot for the 2 days we have the obligation at Pikes Peak Traveland so we are hoping they will let us stay in the parking lot overnight. Rick, I had the same wiper repair stance on the day we picked up our trailer and brought it home (Houston to Austin). Worst rain we have every traveled in and the wiper arm on the drivers side failed. First time towing the trailer. Awesome!
RickW
Jack - Trey hit the nail on the head, we were at Mike and Suzan's for the weekend. The last 2 miles to there place is down a dirt road. The weekend before there was some fear of it would be passable. If it was not passable we were going to give you a ring and see if you had space for us but it dried out. Plus you kept talking about some white stuff falling out of the sky and accumulating on the ground. We are currently in Yellowstone and will be until the 6th or 7th. Trey - Yes that was our 3rd stop for me to finally get the dang thing fixed. While the blade is still in like new shape it appears the plastic retainer clip has seen better days. Working good now. My smart a$$ co-pilot seemed to think it was funny and video taped the whole thing. Rain, upper 30's and me in shorts and T-Shirt! I did not find the humor in any of it. I figured God was just following me around with the rain. My new shop should have been done in early March and still is not done due to weather. Been trying to pour concrete for 3 weeks now and my GC just called and said since I left town last week the longest they have goon between downpours is about 12 hours. So maybe I am doing something right. Has not rained the whole time I have been here. Just back home!
Jack Mayer
We have to get out to Mike and Suzan's soon. Saw them last summer but have not seen their "new" place. You guys are welcome here anytime. Generally we can find a spot for you....only in late July/August are we 100%. But even then I could find you a "boondock" place. I think Rocky can tell you some stories about that.....
HERO Maker
Yes, Jack can make room for us big guys when boondocking, if needed. Even supplies lake front property for truly aesthetic purposes. Long 20amp extension cord helps! Great place to be if you haven't been there.
RickW
Jack/Rocky Thanks! We were only in town for 2 nights. One of these trips when not in such a hurry to get to where we are going we will definitely have to stay.
