trostberg
Thanks Kirk, I did read that WA does not allow a mail forwarding service for the definition as a legal residence. Don't have family that still live there unfortunately.
Dranoel
I'd suggest that you spend some time on these sites. These are two of the best I've found. They are generally well regarded on retirement boards. They are not selling products.. Firecalc is related to the early-retirement board, also a great source of financial/retirement info I-orp includes tax parameters 2014 DRV Mobile Suites 36' RSSB3 2013 Ford F350 http://where-rv-going.blogspot.com

Kirk W
If you want to estimate the number of years that you will need savings to last, I have seen more than one review which rates the site "Living to 100 Life Expectancy" as one of the best such places to estimate your life expectancy. 1) Do enjoy your early retirement years as much as possible while younger and in good health. (Thus, we are not afraid to draw down a bit heavier these early years.) This one makes me chuckle just a little bit. If you do this then does it mean that you plan to sit and wait to die once you reach a particular age? For me, I plan to live a quality life and continue to travel and explore new places and experiences for a very long time, even though I am presently past the age of 70. My father & mother both lived past the age of 90 and 3 of dad's relatives that I knew lived past 100. I sure don't want to spend everything but rocking-chair money too soon. wa_desert_rat
Thanks Kirk, I did read that WA does not allow a mail forwarding service for the definition as a legal residence. Don't have family that still live there unfortunately. I think that this is no longer true but I've lost the link. Do a little more research before you decide. The major downside to WA is that they will tax you on any RV you buy out of state and bring into the state unless you can figure out some sort of work around (LLC in MT maybe). We have family here and a place to stay and the DW would almost certainly return here if anything happened to me (she is 12 years younger than me). And it's not likely we'll be buying any new RVs either. We're big believers in good maintenance is cheaper than monthly payments to a bank.
