Velos
We have a 2000 Freightliner FL60 it has served us well as we are not mechanically inclined we take it in for regular PM's. Just arrived in Sparks, NV and air conditioner is not working (thank goodness the weather is cool and we don't need it for now) and the last 50 miles heard a hissing sound under the hood. DH not sure if it is the turbo or?? Also need to repair or replace the window washer reservoir. Would like recommendations for truck repair in the area. Though not real close has anyone used this repair shop: Pit Lane PerformanceDarrel Walters 28 Cygnet Dr. Moundhouse, NV 89706(775) 884-3332 Thank you for your suggestions. john&sharon
There is a freightliner dealer in Sparks, Sierra Freightliner, 1550 E. Greg St., Sparks, NV 89431, (775) 331- 2550. We have not used this dealer, but found him on the app listing all freighliner dealers. App is 24/7 Direct. This is very handy when we are on the road. Velos
UPDATE: We took our truck to: Cashman Equipment600 Glendale Avenue, Sparks, NV 89431(775) 358-5111Location on Google Maps Latitude: 39.5279411 Longitude: -119.7503372Company web site click here Very convenient location just 2 miles from our RV park. The communication with Diana during troubling shooting was excellent, she told us when she would call and she did with daily updates and thorough explanations. In the end we had the a/c replaced, the pac brake replaced and a leak in the exhaust system repaired. The truck is running like a charm now. We have really gotten our monies worth from this 15 year old truck towing a 20,000 lb fiver.
Darryl&Rita
Did you have any contact with Pac-Brake during, or after? They're pretty good about standing behind their units.
Velos
Thank you for the suggestion, I didn't think about contacting them as the truck is 15 years old?
