The desert bar

Recommended Posts

A fun place, and we enjoy it. But it sure isn't for everybody. Saw a guy a couple of months ago with a Desert Bar T-Shirt on and I remarked abut it. His wife unloaded on the place, wished he never wore that particular shirt, and on and on. I really believe they should have been at the Embassy Suites or Hilton bar!

First time we went there we took the back way in on a 4WD road. It was an interesting trip and got to see a abandoned mine along the way. The place was crowded when we got there and the hamburgers were over cooked and dry. It was fun seeing how the place evolved over the years and interesting to see, but the main interest was the 4WD run to get there. Of course, you can take "Cadillac" road (boring well graded wide dirt road) to get there if you're not into off roading.
