Wrknrvr
If you nave any green color on your battery post it is most likely not clean. Even if there is no green, but it is not shiny it may still need cleaning. Just had a motorhome leave behind us the other day and the chassis was not charging the coach battery's through a relay. it ended up being a loose connection on the relay, but the battery's did not look so good on the post. He did not care as he had 2000 miles to travel. I do recommend cleaning your terminals once a year. A few years ago I had a call about a furnace problem. So while checking things on the 12VDC side I asked about the battery. She said there was a new one installed seven years before. Never looked at it since. Wrknrvr
This post is to help alert people to check there batteries other than that they are there. I have seen a lot of batteries that have been neglected in the last few years. There are some new RVR's that really do not understand how important there 12 VDC batteries are to there rv controls. And yes the person that said the battery was new 7 years ago had no idea as to what that had to do with her RV controls.
