buzz64
I am new to Escapees, but my truck is not. Purchased from escapees in Jan but due to injuries had to send someone across the country to pick it up. Finally released to drive so I hooked up and went for a spin. Why didn't I do this sooner? Been reading about the "dark side " while driving Ram 3500 pulling 41 foot toy hauler. On flat land it did ok but first trip to the mountains told the real story. I have learned so much from this site and I hope to be a good source of information in the future as well. Thanks to everyone here for the great information. Dave Currently I have a 2005 Goldwing, but due to recent injuries I can no longer ride. I am wanting to replace it with a really fast golf cart. DW has the same idea except for the really fast part. Howdy buzz64, I usually haul a couple of Ural's with sidecars on them, sometimes a Ural with sidecar and my Road king Classic, hope to get the wife riding her Heritage Classic again one of these days. I have given thought to getting a Smart Car to haul for times when the weather would make it better to have a car rather then one of the bikes. My garage is 18 feet long, I can haul a Smart Car and a bike with a sidecar on it or the Smart Car and the two Harley's.
