Bill, the people that you probably need to be talking to can be found at the link given to you on your first thread, Fitzgerald Glider. They can likely get you whatever you want in a truck, in any of several Freightliner, Kenworth, or Peterbilt models, all with reman 12.7 liter Series 60 Detroits.

If none of the three manufacturers that source the gliders for them offers a sufficiently long wheelbase from the factory in a rolling glider, that shouldn't be a deal breaker, either. Many of the truck conversion motorhomes that are built are based on used tractors, every one of which has to be stretched. The companies that build those rigs know their way around stretching truck frames.

It,s a pick your truck, go to the dealer and order the glider spec'ed to your wants/needs and then specify what engine, trans and rear end/suspension package you will be using and they will build the cab and chassis for you pre drilled, wired and plumbed. all you have to do is provide and install or have installed your driveline of choice.
