Do Not Downgrade To Android Kit Kat

Recommended Posts

I will simply observe that KitKat DOES work just fine with SD cards. It does work differently than previous versions of Android and if you are not aware of these differences it will seem as though it is not working. You may have to update some apps or simply use others if the author has not updated the app to handle the differences. I invite you to read this article as it does a pretty good job of explaining the changes and why they were made. Bottom line, however, is that KitKat is not broken.

My LG34C "Fuel" Android phone came with KitKat installed. I rooted my phone and fixed the external SD card limitation using an app from the Play Store ("KitKat External SD Card Patch"). The majority of my add-on apps are now running from a 16GB external SD card.
