Desertswimmer
Hi! We are new members and Fort Courage is our 1984 Lazy Daze Class C Motorhome. We have had multiple RV's, were fulltimers 2010 until life took a turn in a BIG way in 2011. We went from retired fulltiming in New Mexico with 32' Motorhome, to S&B to foster then adopt our two daughters and finally move back to California. We sure didn't plan on it but now find ourselves raising two teenagers and excited about sharing camping with them until they go off to college. Then hope to get back to fulltiming. Sure is different becoming parents at 55 and 70. We named our motorhome Fort Courage because it's taken alot of courage to become parents again. We have grandchildren older than our new daughters, lol. And now that I am the driver I'm hanging on to that same courage to get us out on the road. Getting older is not for sissy's! We've been having fun since finding our Lazy Daze fixing it up frugally and getting ready for spring/summer/fall camping. Had been lurking for quite awhile and wanted to thank all of you for sharing your tips, advice and wisdom. Hope to meet ya on the road!
