rickeieio
Great job. Really enjoyable putting vehicles to names. Now we need faces and screen names? For me, one of the best parts of a rally is meeting folks with whom you've been chatting online. We've made some great friends at the ECR and motorcycle rallies. tyates007
Thanks to Scott and Chad for putting this on. This is our first rally and really the first time we have ever traveled for a gathering like this. We usually travel and stay alone with our 3 girls who have been made to feel very welcome in spite of their cannot stand in one place for more than 30 seconds. We have really enjoyed meeting everyone. Thank you Mr. Cob for the photos.
CrazyCooter
Thanks everyone for the good time! It was great to meet everyone in person and put faces to the screen names on here. I have lots of new ideas for the bed build and trailer upgrades after looking at what everyone else has done. Tracie and I don't usually get involved in group events and questioned how we would fit in expecting to be the youngest of the group....as it turned out we weren't even the youngest. I was hoping it wasn't going to be a bunch of grouchy old retired people.....You know the kind...... All of you guys had me laughing the whole time and more excited looking forward to the future of the RVing lifestyle! One thing I have learned over the years is that the old guys have the best stories! I'm hoping before the event is over, someone will be able to answer Rick's nagging questions so he won't go home wondering about the way things are the way they are down here........ 1999 Peterbilt 385 C12 430/1650 13spd 2006 Dodge 3500 DRW 4x4 2010 Hitchhiker Champagne 36 LKRSB
jtr
Tony, pretty sure Krysta and I were the youngest!! Good to meet everyone and thanks for the warm welcome. The knowledge and experience of the folks at this event is humbling. We too are looking for ways to change our bed to handle a 5th wheel, thanks for the motivation! Chad Heiser
We have had a great time at the rally. Thank you Mr. COB (Dave) for the photographs and for updating them with the people pictures we took this afternoon. I am sorry to see the weekend end. I have made some great new friends and we are already looking forward to next year. My DW has also finally started to appreciate the HDT way and doesn't think I'm the only crazy person out there wanting to do this anymore. 2000 Kenworth T2000 w/ Cummins N14 and autoshift 2017 DRV Mobile Suite 40KSSB4 with factory mods, dealer mods and personal mods - now in the RV graveyard 2022 DRV Full House MX450 with customized floor plan 2018 Polaris RZR Turbo S (fits in the garage) 2016 Smart Car (fits in the garage or gets flat towed behind the DRV when the RZR is in the garage)My First Solar Install ThreadMy Second Solar Install Thread & Photos and Documents Related to the buildMy MX450's solar, battery and inverter system - my biggest system yet! chadheiser.com West Coast HDT Rally Website
MrSeas
AWESOME TIME! We had a "terrific" weekend! Thank you everyone for making the WCR a raving success! We had terrific weather.....sometimes hot and windy, but with a nice cooling breeze in the evening to gaze at the stars and tell stories after "happy hour". The RV park was very gracious and accommodating to the "gentle giants" and their "handlers" and I can't thank them enough for all of their generosity. Fantastic new friends were made with some driving or flying many miles to be join us. Lots of "cool" rigs....tours were so much fun! Loved looking at all the "neat" improvements folks have made to their rigs! Picked up lots of "new" ideas and shared a few! May next years WCR be even better! Many thanks to everyone.......
