rickeieio
Stay off the main roads, stick on a slow moving equipment sign, and go real slow. Be real nice and offer candy. AKA hay wagon. I see too many people doing just that. If your friendly LEO knows his stuff, he will point out that license plates, (red) turn signals and brake lights are not allowed on vehicles with SMVs. That said, more often lately, new farm equipment is sold following the laws in Europe, so has brake lights, but amber turns. Big5er
Texas does not dis-allow any lighting equipment from a slow moving vehicle, but we define a SMV as "a motor vehicle designed to operate at a maximum speed of 25 miles per hour or less", so that truck and trailer do not either one qualify since "designed" and "barely capable" are not the same thing MY PEOPLE SKILLS ARE JUST FINE.~It's my tolerance to idiots that needs work.~ 2005 Volvo 780 VED12 465hp / Freedomline transmission singled mid position / Bed by Larry Herrin2018 customed Mobile Suites 40KSSB3 2014 smart Fortwo
dascom
Had our sister from the Walmart parking lot stayed off the big roads and had a safety escort, no one would probably have ever known the move happened. Wouldn't have been technically legal, may still have gotten a ticket, but we like folk who care about safety first. There are few things more dangerous than the nations highway system. An accident about every 5 seconds and a death about every 5 minuets here in just the USA. You got to love our LEO's for trying to keep some limits in this insanity.
