Tex Bigfoot
That is different for sure. Does anyone know the width of a DC3 fuselage ? I was just wondering if it had to be cut lengthwise to be of legal width. one of a kind
bigjim
I heard on the tv that they are considering selling Elvis' planes and my first thought was how could I make it a unique rv or maybe a homebase casa but when I heard what they were expected to sell for I flushed that idea down the toilet. I was just wondering if it had to be cut lengthwise to be of legal width. one of a kind I've piloted and jumped out of several DC3s back in my skydiving days. They never seemed that wide to me when packed with jumpers. Plus that door opening was small when several of us would launch in a tight group. But it was a great workhorse and it is neat to see one on wheels.

Cheers, Bob https://www.pinterest.com/pattencustomrv/odd-rv-s-and-campers/ Those are indeed some interesting, different designs. The very first pic in there reminded me of one that is made (in fact, that pic may be an earlier model) in Marysville, KS. We thought one of those might be fun, until we saw the price tag. http://www.travelwave360.com/

Carolaow
Holy cow, put that toad on those airliners and start down the interstate and count how many lawsuits you gather along the way from all the accidents caused by uncontrolled laughter! Love it!

reed and elaine
Kirk I put that photo of the Aussie DC-3 RV on a RVN era LRRP/Army Ranger thread. It went over great and it received a lot of amusing comments. Reed and Elaine
