sushidog
Catching and diverting rain water for personal use may be illegal in some locals. Nevada specifically prohibits collecting rainwater unless you are a land owner with water rights. http://www.enlight-inc.com/blog/?p=1036#nevadas http://www.naturalnews.com/029286_rainwater_collection_water.html Chip
RV_
Please, come take some of our Louisiana rains and rainwater off our hands! I'm sure our legislators will allow you to have millions of gallons if you position your collectors a few miles upriver of the Red River as it goes by Shreveport/Bossier City LA! Pieere
Soon we will be metered and charged for the outside air we breath. Back to the tiny houses, I like the idea as an old bachelor. first Iould check the local zoning laws as mt brother bought an old farm; house and 5 acres of land in Putnam County; Florida. The realtor told him it was zoned as agricutural so he didn't check with zoning. We both had RVs and He was staying in his while renovating his house. I had mine hooked to electric but stayed in a bedroom in the house! Zoning forced me to unhook the electric or threatend to fine us $300.00 a day. Told him he had 3 months to finish renovating the house which needed many repairs and $$$"s. He had to resell due to not enough finances to pay contractors. Zoning was going to condemn the house even though it had running water; bathroom and kitchen facilities. This was back in 2000. Living Life One Day At A Time! I know that spur texas allows tiny homes now
