2013 Crossroads Sunset Trail -- 28' rear bath, peninsula kitchen, lightweight --- pulled with a 2006 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins Diesel. Hoping to go fulltime next Spring if I can get a lifetime's worth of "stuff" out of my house and get it sold.

I had a fiver with rear bath back in the 80's. I didn't realize anyone even made them anymore.

Sure can tell I've been off the road for a while! I started with a 1990 HitchHiker in 1997 that was cherry but I had to remodel to our tastes, and my truck was my old trusty 1992 Dodge 12 valve Cummins Diesel 1 ton dually. It was sold to our mechanic for more than book because of the Transfer flow tank and the custom welder's rack I had on it, as well as the PAC Brake and Rhino lined bed. It had over 700k miles on it. The HH was literally broken by a repair shop in Fairfield California and we bought a used 1998 Challenger 36 foot. It was another cash deal and it was a lemon. But we made it right ourselves.

We are now between rigs. I did have a 2002 Dodge Quad cab with the 24 valve Cummins for five years of meeting customers to design and site their post frame barns and workshops we built. I traded it with 425k miles on it for my 2009 HHR,and it still ran and looked like new. I got hitch itch last year and am halfway there. Last month I bought a new to me low mileage (130k) 3/4 ton that is like new with custom rims and a "tuned" exhaust that is fairly new but I will have to replace first as I do not like loud trucks. Now I am looking hard and heavy for a nice used 2006ish 19-26 foot light fiver since we are going to be part timing, and we don't want anything that would not fit within the 3/4 ton weight capacities. Pics of both rigs and the first truck are on our website in my sig block below. I am waiting for the title to be able to put it in my name and drive it.

I posted pics of the new truck here on the forums at this link: http://www.rvnetwork.com/index.php?showtopic=113572&p=727541

This is my first quiet Cummins, and it is no louder than a gas engine! I have been wanting to try one of the 2005-2007 Cummins engines and this is a beast stock without chipping, which I won't do or buy if done. It's very fast and is getting 22-23 mpg off load. One thing that won't change in my foreseeable future is owning the 5.9 Cummins.

We have a 2003 Teton Grand Freedom. Teton says 39' but it measures that inside. Currently towing with 2012 Chevrolet Dually but in market for an HDT. I feel very small towing it.

Ok, I guess I'll go ahead and be the old gummer here. But this is my first 5er, and I am a beginner at the HDT thing so please go easy on me.

1990 Hitchhiker 2. 29'er. Sold new locally at Curtis trailers in Aloha Oregon. Original owner traded back to Curtis in 97'. I bought it from the second owner whom used it only a few times until 08. It has not been tagged since 2010. It just sat under a cart port until I bought it a few weeks ago.

I'm a work'n on it.
