I have a 30ft rolls international envoy either a 1972 or 1974 with a suburban furnace.i noticed The fan wasn't kicking on when I turn on the thermostat. Upon further inspection I realized it was locked up with mud dauber nests. My question is how should I go about removing the debris in the furnace? (The fan did break free and I immediately shut it off to prevent any further damage) it was all in working order two years ago when it was last used

Hi all, My question is, are all base RV units built with "loud and louder" AC and furnace blowers? Should we look for anything besides Dometic or Coleman brands in a used 5er? To narrow this down, our 31 foot trailer with roof unit and ducts was very loud and woke us both up at night. We were not living in it full time, and was only occasional use. Now our unit has been totaled by hurricane Mike and we are getting serious about a used fifth wheel purchase and possible full time use. I am pretty sure we will be forced to change the factory units out if we can't stand the noise

Hello everyone, I've got an Atwood 8525-II that has a loud rattling sound that comes and goes. Usually on start up then mellows out and comes back again. I can feel a bunch of play in the blower wheel when i fish my finger behind it and push on it. Is it the motor or the blower fan? Thanks!

Hello, I'm a new person here, but I can tell I'm going to be on this site often. I recently bought a Fleetwood RV and I am loving it. I'm trying to get all the gas appliances going. So far I have the hot water working. Next I'm trying to get the furnace going. I have a Suburban mercury thermostat. I try switching it on or off (who knows which is which?), but nothing happens. I looked online for solutions, and I have a manual for it (says it's for NT-25K, NT-30K, or NT-35K). There it gives instructions for operating a manual valve. Only problem is Where do I access that valve?

Help! I replaced my main Dometic air conditioner. No problems at all, works great. It had a 7-wire thermostat. I replaced it with a Dometic 3-wire thermostat. Married up the wires, all simple enough, and as I said works great. BUT. My Atwood furnace also worked through the thermostat. After wiring up the a/c and new thermostat, which was all labeled and a no-brainer, I had 2 white wires and 2 orange wires left over. These are heavy wires, not thermostat wires. I have 2 terminals on the control box that say “furnace.” Where do I go from here?
