We go through our process to finding a free camping. We have been doing this for many years, so for us this seems like a simple thing but we realize there is a lot of information out there. From selecting your state and region. To different land use, apps, and websites that can help you along the way. The point of this video is so that you can learn the process, learn the rules of the land you are camping on and also learn potential hazards/dangers that you could run into. Like driving a 38 foot Toy hauler down a dirt road! Hopefully this brings a good amount of value to you. Thanks for watching!
Hi everyone. My wife Patricia and I just joined full time Rving on Aug. 29th. we left Maine and have traveled across the upper U.S. mostly staying at state parks and Walmart's. We are currently at Buffalo Gap Grasslands in SD. and love it. My question is, When we leave here we are heading to Gig Harbor WA. and would like to find BLM land to spend the night on in Montana off from I 90 if possible. Do any of you know if there is any? Thank you, Kelly & Pat Mainers on the move
After installing a Nature's Head composting toilet -- one of my *best* decisions; it's everything everyone said it was -- I no longer need the Thetford model 42055 Style II unit that came w/the rig. (It's a 2015 bought earlier this year w/only 2K miles. Original owner bought it for her grandchildren who took a total of three trips in it & then lost all interest. Ergo the low mileage.) Hate to throw away anything w/useful life but used toilets aren't worth much. 'Sides, who'd buy it, even if it is spotlessly clean & appears to be seldom if ever used? You can save it from the dumpster by picking it up in the Dallas area in the next couple weeks. Prolly good for parts at least. It's the low profile, foot-flush model in bone color. Includes the soil pipe & flange. The 42055 Style II was apparently replaced by or became Thetford's Aqua Magic Style II. That's a fancy, more marketing oriented name but I can't see any diff between it & the 42055. Can't post a pic due to forum post space limitations but the company's link -- http://www.thetford.com/product/aqua-magic-style-ii/ -- prolly has all the info about it you may want including an owner's manual. Feel welcome to call w/questions or PM an email address if you want the pix I took. Happy trails!
