  3. Just like the title says, we got kicked out of a National Forest! We had been RV boondocking in Southern California when a forest ranger arrived and told us to leave! In this video, we describe how we were approached while boondocking. Free camping is an awesome way to get outside but sometimes unexpected things can happen. Due to some recent fires in Southern California, the state closed a few National Forests for safety reasons. Unfortunately, we were boondocking in one of them! This is what we encountered while boondocking in California in our fifth wheel. Please make sure you subscri
  4. This video we cover everything about Kernville California, from hiking, mountain biking, fishing, rafting and even skiing. Great boondocking locations and great campgrounds as well. We have been going to the Kern River Valley/Lake Isabella area for a long time now, it's the gateway to the southern sierra's! While we were in Kern for Whiskey Flat Days we decided to share our knowledge of the area and take you on a tour. This area is an outdoor paradise with year round activities. Whiskey Flat Days is one of the most popular festivals in Southern California. This festival takes place in Ke
  5. In this video, we show you some of our highlights from King Of The Hammers 2020 and take you along as we spend the day spectating at various locations. King of The Hammers 2020 is an offroad race that combines rock crawling and desert racing. They have multiple races throughout the week, UTV's, dirt bikes, trophy trucks, every man challenge (lower budget & car limitations) and the main event King of the Hammers. The racers can get up to 100 mph in the open desert and they are also built to crawl the rock sections at high speeds. We started spectating this race around 2009, we have ha
  6. Hi I'm new here and to full-timing! I've been searching for a place to stay that's reasonable price for the month of February. Is $1300 too much, seems so high to me! Its park by where I live. Any other safe places that are cheaper that you can recommend? Thank you, Christina

There are some things to consider. We finally introduce you to our two dogs Blue and Zamboni. Going into their back stories, likes and dislikes. Towards the end of the video (Time Stamps)we go over pros and cons of RVing with pets. Boondocking, BLM and general camping with your pets and what to be aware of. Hope you enjoy our super cute pups! 9. Come along as we explore a few different areas along the 395 HWY in California. Rv living allows us the freedom to travel where ever our hearts, by simply following the weather and maintaining a strong cellular signal. While camping north of Bishop California we head into town to explore there small shops and grab some coffee. The following day we wake up pretty early to make the trek north up the 395 to Ruby Lake Trail Head. The hike ends up being a perfect day hike in an extremely beautiful area. On our drive back to camp/home we decide to hitch up and head south back to Fossil Falls fo
  10. We go through our process to finding a free camping. We have been doing this for many years, so for us this seems like a simple thing but we realize there is a lot of information out there. From selecting your state and region. To different land use, apps, and websites that can help you along the way. The point of this video is so that you can learn the process, learn the rules of the land you are camping on and also learn potential hazards/dangers that you could run into. Like driving a 38 foot Toy hauler down a dirt road! Hopefully this brings a good amount of value to you. Thanks for watchi

  13. Anyone else using Verizon Unlimited and liking it? Yeah it's not truly unlimited in every way, but it still is a home internet replacement for me without issue. I made this video in my apartment, but I am weekender currently when it comes to RVing, and am out every weekend primarily at the same campground, but out to different parts of the country around me regularly.

  16. My girlfriend and I will be disperse camping (boondocking) in our travel trailer near Fort Hunter - Liggett in the Los Padres National Forest (North) at the end of June. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ideally I would like to be as close to Lake Nacimiento and/or Lake San Antonio as possible. Any information on areas to camp, dump stations, potable water, activities, day trips, things to see or general suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I do have and use most of the camping/travel apps but nothing beats local knowledge and/or personal experiences. Thanks in Advance, Hendo

  18. A really neat documentary is on the brink of being completed. Filmmaker, Eric Bricker, set out over 2 1/2 years ago with the idea of featuring Airstream as an architectural great of modern design, but through interviews and filming, he discovered that not only is Airstream an icon of the RV industry, it signifies adventure and a spirited lifestyle in American culture. When Eric released the movie trailer, I was grinning from ear to ear because I think he really "gets" what the nomadic lifestyle is all about. It is a great history lesson of all things Airstream, but more importantly, Airstr

  21. Imagine waking up in your hammock to the songs of wild birds, children or grand children lost for hours digging up turtle eggs on your private beach, the sounds of laughing and splashing while swimming, fishing along the lake, bonfires at night on your beach, shooing the deer from your garden, feeling the constant gentle breezes off of the lake, the rustling of leaves trees from your oak, hickory or sweet gum trees, kids picking up hickory nuts for Thanksgiving/Christmas, a crackling fire in the fire place overlooking the lake and the almost total lack of winter.
