  1. Yellowstone National Park vlog! This is going to be one of many travel vlogs about the Yellowstone, Wyoming area. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is one of the most popular iconic stops inside America's FIRST National Park. Full time RV living leads us to a beautiful RV boondocking location just outside West Yellowstone, Montana. Early on a Saturday morning we decide to take a day trip into this amazing National Park. Our priority is seeing the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. This is what the RV lifestyle is all about! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMg41u54rRc
  2. RV Bike storage solution! Over the past year we have had our fair share of struggles with our bike's, keeping them secure and in good working condition. Obviously it makes sense to store the bikes in the toy box out of the weather. Wrapping them in furniture pads to keep them protected. Removing the front tires saving valuable space. Also showing you my new to me Specialized Camber mountain bike. Mountain biking is a sport that I am trying to get back into after a couple years off. I take the bike out for it's maiden voyage on a local trail in Southern California. Hope you enjoy the video and
  3. We are back in the snow! New Years weekend takes us out into a snowy winter wonderland once again. Come along as we put the tow rig to the test as we hit some slushy 4x4 trails. Out in the California desert once again, to do some offroading in the snow and mud. California RV travel in snowy weather can make for difficult traffic conditions! We meet up with a friend to go exploring but the trail conditions throw us for a loop.
  4. It's finally here, winter wonderland snow camping In California. This past Thanksgiving we went out desert camping with friends. We didn't realize a huge winter storm was rolling in to Southern California. That didn't stop the fun, this video has all sorts of off roading, prerunning, delicious meats and snow mageddon! It was unexpected but we had a great time and made the best of it. This is a memory with friends that we will never forget.
  5. After having issues with our 5th wheel contacting our trailer we starting looking into all options. The Andersen Ultimate Connection kept catching our eye, this hitch is lighter and stronger than ever! Weighing in at 35 lbs it makes the removal process simple and helps with our payload. With this installation I filmed as much detail as I could while also getting the job done. This hitch helps solve the problem short bed truck owners face, the base pushes the hitching point back 4 inches. Then when you install the coupler depending on your setup and configuration you can gain another 4 in
  6. In this video we show you how we converted our standard toy hauler ramp door into a patio/porch. Many of these ramp's come like this from the factory but our 2017 Keystone Carbon did not have that option. So we decided to add it ourselves. We are by no means professionals, this is just a simple way we converted our toy hauler ramp into a patio. Now we have a dual purpose ramp, we can load up our toys and then set it into patio mode. Make sure you use hardware strong enough for you exact trailer and configuration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sChWxAt2mLY
  7. ✶✶✶IN THIS VIDEO✶✶✶ Well we got a new trailer and it's very large. Our first shake down trip didn't go quite as planned, we had many problems. We don't let that get us down, in Big Bear California for the weekend with friends. We do some boondocking near Big Bear. While we are in the area we head over to the Alpine Zoo! They help rehab injured animals and give homes to orphaned one's. 90% of the animals brought in are released back into their natural habitats. We also take some time to visit with a good friend that moved into the area many years ago. He bought a house and has been living his d
  8. We do a walk through of the Keystone Carbon 364 Toy Hauler (38' 3 slides). This is pretty significant for us because we have been looking into a new rig for awhile. There have been a few issues that have been adding up with our 2015 Keystone Cougar 313 ril and we thought our stay in our home town of Simi Valley would be a great time to take a look at new rigs. Here's a list of the issues we are having with our current rig. 1. Separate office space. 2. on board generator. 3. Fresh water capacity. 4. Good storage area for our bikes. 5. A place for quests to sta
  9. Is anyone in this group living full-time in a Toy Hauler? My wife and I have just started the planning to move to full-time in about a year. we are looking at trailers, and trucks to pull. Looking for some like minded people with experience to have conversations with on what they wished they knew before they sold the house and pulled out. Our goal is to full time for a year, looking for a new place to set down roots, then buy a new piece of property as a home base. We are looking at "Fuzion", but interested in peoples experiences with other brands as well. What do you wish you kn
  10. Greetings all, Looking for any gently used Grand Design Momentum or Heartland Road Warrior toy haulers. Would also consider other models depending on the layout. Some of our requirements: Bigger the garage, the better Must have arctic/cold weather package Must be 100% leak/water damage free Must be a 2014 model year or newer We haven't made up our mind on a tow vehicle yet, but we need one of those, too! We're leaning heavily toward a HDT (Volvo 630 or 730), but would be interested in any smaller trucks from F350s on up to MDTs. Shoot me a private mes

  12. We are considering using a HappiJac system in a toy hauler as a flexible option for extra beds (2 bunk queen beds) and 2 couch seating area (converted from a bed) in the garage. Have not found any feedback on the forum but have had a couple of people tell me they loved them or they were a waste of space. Looking for personal use experiences in a toy hauler "garage". How useful? How often used? Reliable? Any headroom issues getting SxS into the garage with a HappiJac. etc.
  13. $71,300 OBO or TRADE (Trade details below) We bought this 2012 Thor Outlaw Class A motorhome (Model #3611) this past March (2017) and drove it 997 miles back from Texas to KY. It runs perfectly, and we did not have a single problem driving it back from TX. Wife is 5'4" and she drove half the way, no problems -- so if your wife can't drive one of these, well....., I'm just sayin'. Sure enough, we have not used it since March, except to get it inspected, get the grey/black water tanks dumped, and gas it up. I have cranked it up ever other week to run the generator and

  15. Hi, I'm searching for a winter-proof toy hauler. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We are new full-timers and we love winter. During the summer our 25' Class B is fine. But now we are winter camping and we need more LP storage, insulation, and indoor room for our bikes. My wish list includes: 1. Enclosed, insulated, and heated holding tanks 2. Lots of LP (currently we have only 17# capacity (!)) 3. Separate garage for all of our gear. Bicycles, skis, SUP, kayak, paddles, etc. 4. I'd love a fiberglass roof 5. The shorter the better. I don't want to go from 25' to 45'. I st
  16. Any ideas of where to advertise my trailer? At 53' long and 27,500#s dry it should be towed by a HDT. I was designed for a off-road race team with a full garage and lift in the back, but it can just as easily be used for luxury living as the garage is currently a large bedroom. Any input would be helpful. Thank you. Custom built 5th wheel with garage and lift. Originally built for an off road racing team. Built with the best components (entertainment system that will rival any luxury home), and ultra luxurious finishes (all counter tops are marble) Exceptional value at $80,000 (co
  17. BTW...Talking about projects that we REALLy don't need, but make life SOOO much better! How about a winch to assist the raising of the loading ramp on my toy hauler. Did this project last night and finished it this AM. Wrote an article about it on my web site: http://rvbprecision.com/rv-projects/toy-hauler-ramp-lift-assist.html And here is a video of it in operation: Ah...My back feels better all ready!

  19. DH and I are looking 5th Toy Haulers to go full timing in. We currently have two full dresser Harley Davidson motorcycle and I have a couple of questions that I am hoping you can answer. 1) What is your Toy Hauler, your tow vehicle and how long is your garage? 2) Do you garage your MC every night or leave them parked outside the trailer? 3) How difficult is it to back your motorcycle down the ramp? 4) How does the weight behind the axles affect the towing significantly? 5) What do you like best about your Toy Hauler, desperately wish you could change? 6) What is the rating on th

  22. Another winning day!!! Loaded the new-to-us Smart into the garage of our Toy Hauler this afternoon. Did it by myself, didn't have to fiddle with the deck angle (up in front, down in back) for the trailer, and had no issues with power to get up the incline. One step at a time...
  23. Like many of you, I'm not a "Full Timer". I still own a house and a yard and a bunch of stuff! But I plan to work out of my Toy Hauler this spring and summer as my business has me traveling all over the country. Why not work in a different area each week? This entails being able to connect to the internet and access to WiFi when it is available and of good quality. The search led me to TechnoRV.com. After reading a million articles on WiFi extenders, I realized that getting good, fast WiFi in most areas will be a bonus and a HotSpot will usually be a better way to access the internet.
  24. My wife and I are about to begin a new career as catastrophic insurance adjusters and will possibly be on the road for 6-8 mos at a time. She wants a new 44ft toy hauler and I am leaning toward a smaller used 5th wheel until we see if staying in a rv is at all what we want. I have pulled bumper trailers all my life, but know nothing about 5th wheel adventures. Any input would be appreciated. Scott
